Who are we?

Right about now; we are two Norwegians who moved to New Zealand.

Why ye ask?
Two completely different reasons:

Kristine's doing fieldwork for her masters degree in Cultural Anthropology. She's looking at the relationship between the Maori and the Pakeha (white New Zealanders of European decent), and what this relationship can tell us about the New Zealand nation-state. She's not attending any classes, but is rather functioning as a sort of cultural detective; observing, asking questions and taking notes. Reads: she's lazy.
